Heston - Downlow EP (LNM036) [Exclusive]

For Love Not Money's 37th release they welcome onboard ‘Heston’, the brainchild and alter ego of Toolroom Records & Noir music artist 'Chris Special'.
On offer is two heavy hitting originals 'Downlow' & 'These Catz', both delivering bags of drive and energy, capable of giving any underground dance-floor a good workout. With both tracks fusing together elements of Deep House, Tech & Nu-Disco while adopting subtle Balearic tones in the breakdowns leads to a somewhat fresh approach among todays vastly saturated music market.
On remix duties Love Not Money bring onboard UK wonder kid Bontan, following his recent Beatport onslaught, spending a month at the Deep House No.1 spot and his recent remix of Underworld's 'Downpipe' on Toolroom firing up the charts he continues his reign delivering a stripped back bass line workout bringing groove and bounce to lead track 'Downlow'.
Other remixes come from 'Inner Rebels', a relatively new production duo made up of previous Love Not Money signings Manos & Rafael Cerato. Their remix of 'Downlow' takes a slightly more late-night, low-slung approach, dropping the tempo and bringing the dark undertones to the EP.
Rounding off the release is long serving Love Not Money artist Matt Fear who once again demonstrates a talent that's earned him a multitude of fans the world over. His remix of 'These Catz' express's the ease in which Matt approach's a remix assignment and his ability to re-invent a track in his unique signature style and thus completing one of the strongest Love Not Money releases to date.
